Marsha Starkey just returned from RezFest 2008. After learning about all of the new business services and channel partners integrated to ISILink, they have already added additional channel partners, damage waivers, electronic document signing, owner incentive programs, and guest reviews to their business!
The Starkey’s opened their doors in 1997 and purchased First Resort Software to manage their business. After 11 years of being happy FRS customers, they decided to purchase V12.NET. “We wanted to be able to reach out to other network partners. I figured the internet based software would be the right fit for us.” Marsha stated when asked why she decided to make a change after 11 years. They currently manage approximately 150 short term rentals and 35 long term rentals with FRS and they will continue with V12.NET.
Marsha Starkey and Carla Cantu attended RezFest in 2008 after not attending for about 2 years. “We love to come to RezFest to catch up on new ideas and meet other managers. We also like the food!” Marsha stated about her reasons for attending this year in a tough economy. “I find RezFest very beneficial. I can't wait until the next one. I feel we walked away with a better understanding of V12.NET, and came home with ideas that can set us above our competitors. In addition, you guys really know how to throw out the welcome mat. I enjoyed meeting many of the Instant Software team.”
Prior to RezFest, Marsha worked with a couple of ISI channel partners and integrated business services – HomeAway and CSA. After attending RezFest and getting the opportunity to discuss their services, Marsha has added Rock Bottom Vacations, the CSA Damage Waivers program, Recombo, (electronic document signing), ICE Owner’s Rewards, as well as FlipKey (guest review service). “I want to offer my owners and guests as much as I possibly can. That is what I want.”
