What is ISILink?
ISI developed the Vacation Rental industry’s first and only Global Distribution System (GDS) to centralize data from all of our Property Management Systems and provide ISI clients with a single point of contact for Web companies.
Where is ISILink data stored?
ISILink and ISI’s hosted sites are located in a restricted data center in Denver, CO. This data center provides multiple server redundancy options and superior, high-level security.
Does ISI sell or give away my data?
No. Absolutely not. ISI does not sell your data, give your data to its partners (unless you give access to a Web company, such as HomeAway, TripAdvisor, etc.), or use your owners’ or customers’ personal or demographic information.
ISI is fanatical about protecting your data and making sure that no one has access to your data except those whom you choose to have access. In fact, in its entire existence, Instant Software has never been accused of leaking data.
What does ISI do with the data?
ISI harvests data from rental managers who are using ISI management solutions and ISILink to create vacation rental industry trend reports that allow you to make informed business decisions based on valid, relevant, regional industry information. Since ISI’s solutions manage the greatest number of rental managers and vacation rental properties, it is the most accurate data available. These reports explore how changes in arrival revenues are tied to changes in length of stay, number of bookings, and advance booking time.
Why should I sign up for ISILink?
Since ISI uses this data to provide you with industry trend reports, it is important that your data be included when analyzing regional trends in your area. That way, you can compare your business performance against the industry performance in your state and region.
ISI also needs your help. Many of our clients are asking for more regionally-focused reporting. For example, the property managers directly impacted by the current oil spill crisis are seeking reports that are isolated to impacted areas. In addition, some states have beach and mountain destinations, and the property managers are asking ISI to provide additional reporting that is relevant to their destination. In order to provide you with the most quantitative and qualitative data possible, we need to include your data in our reporting.
