This track of courses is designed for “Current Users”. The idea of
these courses is to explain in more detail the day to day use and
functionality of the product.
Working with Cost Codes – Todd
Southward
Cost codes are the fundamental components in V12.NET’s vast
accounting functionality. Attendees will learn the importance cost
codes play in all aspects of V12.NET, including reservations, owner
statements and work orders. Clients attending this session will also
review how cost codes affect the general ledger, create payables and
make the world of V12.NET accounting happen. Understand how cost
codes are setup, cost code categories and types, and how cost codes
interact with the software.
Seasons, Rates, and Rate Adjustments -
Jim Hudelson
This session will cover the configuration settings for Seasons,
Rates and Rates Adjustments. Discussed will be the importance of
these areas in relation to booking units and how each of these items
are related to one another. Users will learn how to set up and
manage all of these areas of V12.NET. After this course attendees
will have an understanding of how to set up and implement Seasons,
Rates and Rate Adjustments.
Handling Add-ons - Dawn Pitman
V12.NET has a spectacular capability for guest add-on charges. This
class will go through the fundamental add on set up to discuss the
multiple add on types and features. This course will be an in-depth
look at the full functionality of the add-on set up. Attendees will
learn useful and important tips on using the Add-on functionality.
Clients attending should come away from this class with the
knowledge of how to properly use and manage Add-ons.
More Accounting in V12.NET: Vendor
Payables, Taxes and Reports, and Trip Insurance – Dawn Pitman
In this course, users will learn the fundamental functionality of
processing Accounts Payables through V12.NET. We have broadened the
scope of this class to include some of the reporting functionality
that will coincide with the processing of vendor checks. Users will
learn how to pay out taxes and trip insurance with the proper
supplemental reports available in V12.NET. Clients will learn how to
process AP checks to vendors as well as some tips and tricks to
making the process more streamlined.
Accounting and Bank Reconciliations –
Todd Southward
Checks! Deposits! And Others! Oh My! This class will explore the
exciting world of Bank Reconciliation. How to account for checks,
make bank deposits and reconcile journal entries. Starting from
daily receipts and ending with reconciling to your bank statement;
this class will highlight the simple steps needed to balance with
the bank. Balance the V12.NET software with your bank statement.
Owner Accounting and Owner Statements
– Todd Southward
This class will provide an overview of the month end procedures that
each step does and the timing and proceeding problems you may
encounter. It will also present ideas on how to streamline your end
of month process and how to get the most out of V12.NET’s automated
features.This class will train you in the month end procedures
pertaining to revenue processing, printing owner statements,
transferring owner balances, printing owner checks and printing
month end reports.
Deposit Policies and
Booking Rules –
Steve Boyer (Two Presentation Links)
This course will teach users how to properly configure the Deposit
Policies and Booking Rules with in V12.NET. Attendees will learn the
full potential of the functionality in these areas of the software
and why V12.NET gives users an edge over the competition.
Expected Outcome: User’s should have more confidence in the proper
set up and configuration of Deposit Policies and Booking Rules. Also
each attendee should understand the implementation of these as it
relates to other areas of V12.NET.
