FRS Efficiencies - Kelly Ish

You all have procedures for working with FRS, but you may not know about all the features of First Resort that can make your job easier. We will discuss ways to increase efficiency in all areas of the software. You will also have a chance to share what you are already doing to make your job run more smoothly.


ISILink for AVMain Users - Tom Clark

This class will cover how ISILink connects your AVMain database to Channel Partners, WebLink, OwnerLink, and TravelLink. We will begin by looking at some of the benefits that ISILink can offer your business. Next we will examine how your data base communicates with ISILink and how to update and maintain your ISILink Setup. This is a good class for anyone who is responsible for the integration and maintenance of online bookings.


Using Letters and Exporting Data in FRS - Heather Black

FRS data can be easily exported into other programs such as Excel, Word and Access to create mailing labels and special reports using letter logic. This class will go over the basic letter logic commands and variables used in the everyday use of FRS. You will also learn about the difference between Letter Variables, Queries, Display Variables and Format Commands. You can explore how letter logic can be used to create custom reports as well as enhance your current reservation letters. This class assumes a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.


Folio Reconciliation - Kelly Ish

Out of balance folios are one of the most common balance problems we see in First Resort. You will learn what throws a folio out of balance and how you can fix it. We will go over how to negative process a folio and other balancing procedures and discuss reconciliation of the advance deposit account.


Back Office Reconciliation - Tom Clark

As part of your critical month end procedures, you need to ensure that your trust liability accounts are in balance. Back Office Reconciliation will cover how to see if you are in balance, and what steps to take to learn why you are out of balance and how to fix any errors that you may find.
 

Integrating FRS with Your Technology - Heather Black

"Do you have a sledgehammer or a brick handy?" - Top thing you don't want to hear from Tech Support.

This class will go over some of the typical technology setup for FRS. Learn about setting up a net use command, batch files and other MS-DOS technology quirks we run into when using FRS. We will also have an open question and answer session with plenty of informational handouts.


Common Errors/Troubleshooting - Kelly Ish

Everybody makes errors. It is only when we don’t learn from these errors that they become mistakes. This class will cover some of the most common and preventable errors that occur in First Resort. We will also go over basic troubleshooting techniques that will help you solve some of the common problems you may encounter in the software.
