RezFest 2008 was held at The Silvertree Hotel located in Snowmass Village, Colorado. Centrally located on Fanny Hill and the Village Mall, its location has everything you want in a resort location. Don't worry about going far...everything you need is right there in the village, from dining, lodging and activities.

Airports

Aspen Airport (ASE)
The nearest airport to The Silvertree Hotel, located just three miles from Aspen and eight miles from Snowmass Village, is the most conveniently located ski resort airport in the world. Up to 126 flights per week offer reliable, same-day connections from points across the globe. The Silvertree Properties supply complimentary Aspen airport shuttle service; please call the hotel directly from the transportation services kiosk. Aspen Airport is currently serviced by United/ United Express, US Airways, Frontier and Delta.

Eagle/Vail Airport (EGE)
The Eagle/Vail Airport is located just 70 miles from Snowmass Village. Airport limousine service and non-stop shuttle service to Snowmass Village are available from Colorado Mountain Express.  Car rentals are also available.

Denver Airport (DIA)
For an option to fly into a larger airport, Denver is a scenic three-and-a-half hour drive from Snowmass Village. Airport limousine service and non-stop shuttle service from DIA to Snowmass Village are available from Colorado Mountain Express. Car rentals are also available

 

 

Getting Around

Car Rentals
Rental car agencies available at the Aspen Airport are Thrifty, Avis, Budget, Eagle and Hertz. National Car Rental is located at the Inn at Aspen and should be arranged accordingly to your travel.

Mass Transit
The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority has buses that can get you from the Aspen Airport to Snowmass Village. You may also decide to visit Aspen or surrounding areas in the valley via the RFTA bus. Visit the RFTA website for schedules. Buses are free into Aspen and run until 2:00 AM.

Hotel and Conference Center
All RezFest classes and events are conveniently located on property. The Silvertree Hotel is surrounded by many dining and shopping options within walking distance, as well.

Weather

Dressing for the Valley
The weather in late September can be very unpredictable. Ideally, days will be warm and dry, and the mornings and evenings can be quite cool. If storms come in, rain and snow may fall, and temperatures will drop rapidly. Casual clothing is the theme for the valley, and layering is always a good idea due to the temperature changes.
