Hosted by President Doug Macnaught and COO Ted Miller, March 11th was the first Biannual Executive Forum of 2009. Macnaught and Miller discussed the progress of this past year, the current positioning of the company, along with the future of Instant Software, its products and partners.

Titled as, COMMITMENT + GROWTH + RELEVANCE = VALUE & BRIGHT FUTURES, the forum spoke to just that. Macnaught talked about the commitment Instant Software has made to its clients, including responsive and accommodating Client Care/Support, ongoing development and enhancements to all of its business solutions, increased Business and Channel Partners, more effective online marketing outlets and increased education and training opportunities. 

“It’s important to us to set some expectations and deliver on them, rather than set those which are beyond our ability to deliver,” Macnaught says during the Forum, when commenting on the ‘Commitment’ provided by the Instant Software team. 

When talking about ‘Growth’, Macnaught touched upon everything from the fifteen new additions to the Instant Software staff, continual product development and enhancements, increased divisional offices to the expanding number of new and returning clients. 

Macnaught said, “Our growth proudly goes against all odds during the economic downturn. The past year of growth provides certainty and, more importantly, security for our clients that Instant Software will always be there to provide support and solutions to maximize their [clients’] revenue opportunities.”  

Instant Software has secured several relationships, providing relevance to the industry and even to specific markets, which was further explained by Miller. To name only a couple of these relationships, ResortQuest has a contract for a V12.NET roll-out to all its locations, equating to about 10,000 units. 

At an international level, Interhome, a European management company representing 30,000 properties, has selected ISILink as their real-time integration platform. “This is a very important development, as ISILink is becoming the standard by which all vacation rentals will transact in real-time,” Miller said. “It will greatly assist the vacation rental industry in becoming a major category of travel, reaching consumers that have never experienced a vacation rental.” 

During the latter half of the Forum, both Macnaught and Miller commented on the stimulating future growth of Instant Software’s products and partners, and participated in a live Question and Answer Session with the Forum attendees.
